I OPENED with the story of a guy who said, "I bought a two-story house. I got one story from the Seller before I bought it, and another story after the deal closed!" I reassured readers that this is NOT the kind of story you'll get in this space. IT'S BEEN A FUN 25 years! I don't plan on quitting any time soon. Il've only missed ONE Saturday in 25 years...and that one was because a long-since- departed newspaper employee forgot to include the column in the paper! I don't think anybody noticed. OUR MAN John DuBois is on a tear! First up: CONGRATULATIONS to Jerry and Genessis! Recently married and first-time home buyers, they had to lose out on a couple of homes before John NAILED the home of their dreams for them. (These days, we warn our Buyer clients that competition is fierce and inventory is scarce. To WIN, you have to bring your best. John consistently wins.). NEXT UP: Four years ago, John DuBois helped clients John and his wife Jenni into a lovely little Lodi starter home. Now they've joined our CALEXIT Program. They're Texas-bound! We referred them to a top Realtor in Lubbock where they're buying a two-year-old 1900 square foot home for $247,000. JOHN AND JENNI's entry-level home appreciated $150,000 over the past four years. "Sell high, Buy low" is one of the many reasons we're seeing an exodus from our lovely state. Of course, there are a lot of reasons to stay, too! HERE'S TO THE NEXT 25 years!
