NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, the 26th day of August, 2020 at the hour of 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, the Lodi City Planning Commission will conduct a meeting telephonically and available for the public to view and listen at https://www.facebook.com/CityofLodi/, to consider the following Public Hearings: a) Request for the Planning Commission of the City of Lodi to recommend that the City Council implement the provisions of Senate Bill (SB) 5 and SB 1278 related to 200-Year Flood Protection by amending the General Plan Safety Element. (CEQA Status: Exempt, Section 15162, Subsequent EIRS and Negative Declarations) b) Request for the Planning Commission of the City of Lodi to recommend that the City Council implement the provisions of Senate Bill (SB) 5 and SB 1278 related to 200-Year Flood Protection by repealing and reenacting the following Lodi Municipal Code Chapters and Section: Chapter 15.60 Flood Damage Prevention; Section 17.14.040 General Performance Standards; and, Chapter 17.28 - Overlay Zoning Districts. (CEQA Status: Exempt, Section 15162, Subsequent EIRS and Negative Declarations) Information regarding these items may be obtained from the Community Development Department by phoning (209) 333-6711 or by emailing pccomments@lodi.gov. All interested persons are invited to present their views for the above proposals by email or in-person via Zoom invitation. Written statements may be filed with the Community Development Director at any time prior to the Hearings scheduled herein and they will be read aloud during the meeting and made a part of the record.
