June 2021 DALS would like to thank the City of Lodi for allowing us to partner with the city shelter to provide essential services to the abandoned animals of this community for 17 years. Our incredible volunteers walked dogs, cared for cats, introduced adopters to shelter animals and fundraised to pay for life saving medical treatments and shelter improvements such as the fenced dog yard, covered patio, flooring and more. These services were provided at no cost to the City of Lodi. Another BIG thank you goes out to our donors who not only made our work at the shelter possible but allowed us to realize our dream: PALS Haven, a safe place for companion animals. We have used your donor dollars wisely and built a debt free, $2.5 million dollar 13,000 sq ft shelter. With the increased size of our new facility and it's amenities we will be able to save more lives by reaching out to the Lodi Shelter and others in our surrounding communities.
