I help out on Mondays. It's a kick! This week I helped Franky with his math homework and Chastity with her reading. After the homework was finished, the kids got the customary snack. Then I played Foosball and Air Hockey with Mohammed, a bright and feisty ten-year- old. I did yard duty outside, catching stray foursquare balls as boisterous older boys did their best to kick the ball high enough to stick on the roof of the two-story church building. A tiny little girl brought me two bubble wands and invited me to pick one of them. I took the blue one, she got the yellow. MEANWHILE, our intrepid John DuBois was putting a new listing into escrow so fast I didn't have time to tell you about it! Team Co-Leader and Partner Angel McGregor groomed two upcoming listings, due to hit the market soon. Watch this space! IN AN AGE when nine-year-olds are being jumped into gangs, it's a pleasure to provide a safe and warm place for these kids to hang out after school. Pedro. Abdul. Aneesa. Nafeesa. Alexander. Sabha. Miguel. Alia. Ishba. Some days we have 24 kids, some days it's half of that. "Miss Katie", Katie Stanley, heads the Horizon work while Liz Stevahn of The 180 directs a similar operation at Blakely Park every week. CALEXIT PROGRAM UPDATE: Congratulations to Brandon and Kate on the successful SALE of their beautiful Woodbridge home! They're off to Tennessee.
